1.1. Obzervability (“we”, “the practice” or “the service”) is a Dynatrace consulting practice operating from Israel. It delivers Dynatrace implementation, managed services and support, and operates an audit engine called AudiTrace. 1.2. This policy covers obzervability.com and its language editions (/he, /fr, /es), together: “the site”. Use of the site is subject to this policy and to the terms of use. Please read it — browsing the site and sending us a message indicate your agreement to it. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. 1.3. The policy is written in the spirit of the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741–1981 and its regulations and amendments, the Protection of Privacy Regulations (Data Security), 5777–2017, and the guidance of the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority. For visitors from the European Economic Area (EEA) the GDPR also applies — see section 12. 1.4. It applies to use of the site through any computer or communication device (mobile, tablet and so on), over the internet or any other network.

“User” — anyone who browses the site or contacts us through it. “Personal information” — information that allows a person to be identified, as defined in the Protection of Privacy Law. “Processing” — any operation on information: collection, storage, adaptation, retrieval, deletion, transfer and the like. “Service provider” / “third party” — an external party that supplies us with infrastructure or a service, including those listed in section 9. “Engagement” — consulting, implementation, support or audit work carried out for a client under a separate agreement. “Report” — the output of an AudiTrace run: findings, evidence, object lists and cost figures.

4.1. Information you give us. The contact form asks for your full name, company, business email, phone number with country code, and your message. Those fields are emailed to us and nothing else is done with them. There is no database behind this site and no record of your submission other than the email itself, which sits in our mailbox until we delete it. 4.2. Information collected automatically. We measure traffic with Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it sets nothing on your device, keeps no identifier that follows you between visits or between sites, and records no personal information. What it records is a page view — the page, the site you arrived from, your country, and your device and browser family — added into counts. It is served from our own domain rather than from a third-party tracking host. We use it to see which pages are read, and for nothing else. There is no advertising pixel here and no cross-site tracking. Our hosting provider additionally keeps ordinary server request logs — IP address, user agent, URL and timestamp — as part of operating the network and protecting it from abuse; we do not query those logs to profile anyone. 4.3. Country of the request. Our host tells the page which country the request came from, so the site can preselect the phone country code and know which language to offer. It is derived from your IP address by the hosting provider, used once while the page loads, and never stored or logged by us. 4.4. Information inside an engagement. When we audit or operate a Dynatrace tenant, we necessarily see configuration and telemetry metadata from that tenant. This is covered separately in section 8. 4.5. You are not obliged by law to give us any personal information, and doing so is a matter of your own choice and consent. Without an email address or a phone number, however, we cannot reply to you. Please do not enter another person’s details without their consent.

Replying to your enquiry, preparing a proposal and scoping work — your contact details and the content of your message — basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and your consent. Delivering an engagement you have signed — contact details and tenant material — basis: performance of a contract. Keeping the site available, secure and free of abuse — server request logs held by our host — basis: legitimate interest. Seeing which pages are read, so we know what is worth writing — cookieless page-view counts — basis: legitimate interest. Bookkeeping, invoicing and tax — billing details and transactions — basis: a legal obligation. Establishing, exercising or defending a legal claim — whatever is relevant — basis: legitimate interest.

No advertising or marketing pixels. No tracking cookies — in fact, no cookies at all, which is why this site shows you no cookie banner. The traffic measurement in section 4.2 counts page views, not people: nobody here is profiled, scored, followed between sites or added to a list. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not pass it to commercial partners, data brokers or advertisers.

One thing, and it is a preference you set yourself. If you change anything in the accessibility menu — text size, contrast, line spacing and so on — those settings are saved in your browser’s local storage under the key obz.a11y.v1. It is not a cookie, it is never sent to us, it identifies nobody, and clearing your browser data removes it. Your language is not stored at all. The site works out which edition to show from the address, and otherwise from the country the request came from, every time a page loads — so one stray click on the language picker can never pin a browser to a language it did not want.

8.1. AudiTrace reads a Dynatrace tenant and reports what it observes. It performs no write operations and changes nothing in your environment. 8.2. A report contains configuration metadata, entity and host names, management-zone and tag names, licence and consumption figures, and the queries that produced each finding. It may incidentally contain personal information — for example the name on a Dynatrace user account or an email address in an alerting profile. 8.3. We hold that material only for as long as we need it to deliver and explain the report, and thereafter for as long as needed to defend a claim. Where we have signed a confidentiality agreement or data-processing terms with you, those terms apply in addition to this policy and prevail wherever they are stricter. 8.4. We do not use client tenant data to train artificial-intelligence models, and we do not reuse one client’s material for another. Aggregate, anonymised observations — for example how often a particular setting is misconfigured across the environments we see — may inform how we work, and carry nothing that identifies a client.

9.1. We use a small number of service providers and pass them only what they need: Vercel — hosts the site, serves it through its content-delivery network, and provides the cookieless traffic measurement described in section 4.2. Resend — delivers the email generated by the contact form. Google Workspace — holds the mailbox that email lands in. Each of them sees only what it needs to do that job, each is bound by its own terms, and each has its own privacy policy. There is no other processor, no analytics vendor and no advertising network. 9.2. Authorities and law enforcement. We will disclose information where required by a judicial order, a competent authority or the law, and where necessary to protect our rights or prevent fraud. 9.3. Change of control. On a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may pass to the acquirer, subject to this policy continuing to apply.

10.1. We take technical and organisational measures appropriate to a practice of this size, including: encrypted transport — all traffic is served over HTTPS/TLS; a static site with no database behind it, so there is no store of visitor data to breach; two-factor authentication on the mailbox and on the accounts used to operate the site; and access limited to those who need it. 10.2. No online system is completely secure. If we become aware of a serious security incident that may affect your information, we will notify you and the Privacy Protection Authority in accordance with our obligations under the law.

11.1. Correspondence is kept while the conversation is live and afterwards for as long as it may be needed for a legal claim. Ask us and we will delete it. 11.2. Bookkeeping records, invoices and receipts are kept for seven years, as Israeli tax rules require. 11.3. Engagement material is kept as described in section 8.3, or for the period set out in the signed agreement. 11.4. Server request logs are held by our hosting provider for its own short retention period and are not copied by us. 11.5. At the end of the retention period information is deleted or anonymised.

12.1. The providers listed in section 9 store and process information on servers located outside Israel, principally in the European Union and the United States. 12.2. Those transfers are made in accordance with the Protection of Privacy (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations, 5761–2001, and rest on: countries recognised as providing adequate protection; Standard Contractual Clauses; and the providers’ own data-processing terms, which require a level of protection no lower than that required by Israeli law. 12.3. Use of those providers is also subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies.

13.1. Under the Protection of Privacy Law — and, for EEA visitors, the GDPR — you have the right to: see what information we hold about you; have it corrected if it is wrong, incomplete or out of date; have it deleted, subject to the retention obligations in section 11; restrict or object to processing; receive what you gave us in a machine-readable format; and withdraw a consent you gave, without affecting what was lawful before you withdrew it. 13.2. How to exercise them: email privacy@obzervability.com. No form, no account and no waiting period — it is one person reading one mailbox. We will reply within the period set by law (30 days). 13.3. Right to complain: you may also contact the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority at the Ministry of Justice — privacy.protection@justice.gov.il. EEA visitors may complain to their local supervisory authority.

14.1. We do not run a newsletter and we do not send bulk marketing email. A reply to your own enquiry, a proposal you asked for, or a report you commissioned is not an advertisement. 14.2. If we ever do send marketing, it will be on an explicit opt-in basis under section 30A of the Communications (Telecommunications and Broadcasts) Law, 5742–1982, and every message will carry a one-click unsubscribe. You can also ask us to stop at any time by writing to privacy@obzervability.com.

The site is aimed at business users and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information about children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The governing version is the one published at this address, with the update date shown at the top. Where a change is material and may affect your rights, we will announce it on the site at least 14 days before it takes effect.
